Our breakfast can be added to your booking flexibly – with the Early-Bird advantage already starting at EUR 13,50 per person.
Breakfast Offer
The scent of freshly baked rolls, crunchy veggies, creamy yogurt and aromatic coffee – that’s how the day starts with us.
Our delicious breakfast awaits you daily from 7:15 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. in our bright, modern breakfast room.
To be able to prepare everything fresh and in appropriate quantities, we kindly ask you to order your breakfast in advance, until 4:00 p.m. on the previous day at the latest. Thank you so much for helping us avoid food waste!
Breakfast Buffet – Fresh & Varied
Look forward to a delicious range of choices and put together your favourite breakfast from:
- crisp wheat rolls and hearty grain buns as well as wholemeal bread
- assorted hams, cold cuts of sausage and a selection of cheeses
- fresh vegetables
- eggs: soft boiled and hard boiled
- musli, cornflakes, cereals and yogurt
- home made fruit salad, lovingly arranged in individual little glass jars
We also serve filter coffee, tea and orange juice – freshly topped up at any time. Hot chocolate is available on request.
For Early Risers
Do you need to be out and about before 7:15 Uhr a.m.? No problem! Upon request, a reasonable time in advance, we will bring your breakfast to your room as a packed lunch the evening before.
Prices & Booking
Our breakfast can be added flexibly:
- EUR 16,00 per person and day
- Early-Bird-Discount: By placing your order until 11:00 a.m. at the latest on the day before, only EUR 13,50
Special Requests
Whether gluten-free, lactose-free or other dietary requirements – we are happy to cater for them and offer suitable alternatives wherever possible. Please inform us at least 2 working days in advance (surcharges may apply).
Even More Indulgence
- At our coffee vending machine you can get free hot water at any time. In addition, an assortment of teas is provided free of charge, as well as instant coffee.
- For coffee enthusiats this vending machine can brew around ten different premium coffee varieties – from strong espresso to creamy cappuccino.
- Furthermore you can find a microwave oven in the hallway, with which you can reheat your own food easily.

Our rooms
Thanks to the top floor, which was extended in 2000 and has an interesting round roof, Pension Elisabeth looks like a modern new building, even though it is more than 70 years old.
The top floor (2nd floor above the ground floor, no elevator) was completely renovated in 2019 and comprises seven spacious, bright and beautifully furnished rooms, each with their own bathrooms (all equipped with rain shower and WC), tea and coffee facilities and individually adjustable air conditioning. The garden-facing rooms with a beautiful view of the Salzburg mountains are slightly larger and have a sofa alcove or an extra bed and are therefore our “superior rooms”.
The 14 rooms on the lower floors are significantly smaller, but were completely renovated and refurnished in 2020. Some of these rooms have their own shower directly in the bedroom, while the others have shared showers, which are located in the corridor, same as the shared toilets. The communal sanitary facilities have also been renovated: In the communal shower there is a rain shower and coloured mood lighting, and in the toilets with dispensers for hand and seat disinfection as well as a washbasin with soap and paper towels, you always have a clean and safe feeling.
The street-facing rooms on the middle floor also have air conditioning. The garden-facing rooms are not so strongly heated by the sun and can be well ventilated thanks to their quiet location.
All rooms have a flat-screen TV and Wi-Fi, a mini fridge, a desk and a safe, as well as a hairdryer and a washbasin. In the rooms with shared bathroom facilities, the washbasin is located directly in the bedroom.
Shower gel and shampoo are available in all showers.
Naturally, bed linen, towels and soap are provided as standard in all rooms.
The air conditioning cools in summer and functions as additional heating in winter.
All rooms are non-smoking.
Good to know
Payment
We prefer cash payment on site, but credit cards (Visa and Mastercard) and debit cards are also accepted. Payment in advance only works with some credit cards, bank transfer or PayPal. Please ask us if you would like to pay in advance.
Parking
We have a limited number of parking spaces. You are welcome to use these free of charge, but they cannot be reserved. If all our parking spaces are occupied, you can also use the surrounding free short-term parking zone. Parking is limited to 3 hours during the day (insert parking disc!), unlimited between 7 pm and 9 am and at weekends. Please ask at reception where you can park.
Ticket-Service
At the reception you can get:
- Tickets for guided sightseeing tours with free pick-up service
- Salzburg-Card (all-inclusive-card for sights’ entrance fees and public transport)
- Tickets for concerts and the puppet theater
Bike rental
Bicycles can be rented at the reception.
Pets
Due to some bad experiences, it is essential that you ALWAYS ask us before bringing a pet.
On the one hand, pets are only allowed in some of the rooms. On the other hand, we need to consider employees with allergies when scheduling services. Only by prior consultation with us can we clarify whether we can fulfil your request in your individual case.
For this reason, you will find information on many external booking platforms, that pets are not allowed here – it is simply not possible with one hundred percent certainty in every case.
The following rules apply in the event of a confirmation:
- For the slightly increased cleaning needs we charge 10 EUR per night.
- We ask to bring only dogs who are used to hotels, to make sure of an appropriate noise level. The dog must not start barking at every person who enters the house, this would be intolerable for our other guests.
- Dogs are not allowed in the beds (for hygiene reasons).
- Towels are not provided for dogs. Please bring your own equipment for this purpose.
- Animals are not allowed in the breakfast room (this is required by law).
- It is not allowed to leave the dog alone in the room/apartment.
- Our garden is not a dog toilet. If you take your dog for a walk, please do it always outside our premises, because in our garden small children may play on the lawn.
If the rules are disregarded or if there is gross contamination, we reserve the right to charge for the additional work and any damage.
